The continuous shift of thoughts in a restless mind may look something like this, if they were to be described visually. As thoughts evolve, shift, diminish or loom, they change shape and colour. As the rate of confusion slows, the light starts to flow through the cracks.

As some thoughts fade, younger and bolder ones are born.
